A little exerpt about our house:

First of all, we are sad to have to sell this house. We love this house, this area, and our great neighbors! A job offer so great that it couldn’t be refused is the sole reason we are selling.

            This house was perfect for our commuting. It is practically equal distance between Grand Rapids, Kalamazoo, and Holland. This makes it ideal for couples/families that will be working in different areas. It is just a few minutes from Allegan’s grocery store, post office, pharmacy, bank, hospital, and dry cleaners. Twenty-five minutes from Lake Michigan’s beaches and the wonderful shopping and dining of Saugatuck/Douglas.

            We loved the floor plan of the house, the cathedral ceilings, and how amazingly energy efficient it is . For example, our winter 07/08 heating bill was under $500! One of the best parts of this property is the beautiful sunrises and sunsets; the scenery from every window is beautiful. We created a garden that is 100% organic and has provided so many tomatoes, peppers, beans, cucumbers, and squash that we (and our neighbors!) eat very well all season long. Strawberries and asparagus will return faithfully every year. We fenced in the yard so that our dogs could run and play freely without the risk of running into the road (or after a rabbit!).  We have loved identifying the numerous species of birds (e.g. chickadees, woodpeckers, cardinals, junkos, bluebirds, robins, morning doves, swallows, finches, hummingbirds, orioles, etc.) and watching deer in the fields.

            We made improvements to this house with entertaining in mind. The patios for tables, chairs, grills, and hammocks are perfect for barbeques. We loved lighting tiki torches and toasting marshmallows at the bonfire pit while listening to our favorite music on the outdoor speakers.  We built the tiered deck extra support with the intention of putting a nice big hot tub to soak in.  We made a guest suite in the basement with a full bath so our guests could have comfort and privacy.

The bottom line is that this house is a steal! You are going to get so much house for your money. We bought this house right for years ago and you will see your investment rise substantially in the future. This house is in near mint condition and ready for you to move in!
