The entire family had not been together for a long time.
People flew in from various locations in America.
The photo session looked like it might not take place.
The storms were moving through and it was pouring sheets of rain.
You know what happened?
The skies cleared and the sun eventually came out just for a brief moment during the family photography session.
They all had fun and we made some wonderful, natural images of their families.
Windermere Point on Mackinac Island is a great place for family photography.

Clear Lake Northern Michigan Engagement
Brittany and RJ are vacationing in Northern Michigan near Clear Lake at a family cottage. Their adopted dogs are part of them. Northern Michigan Clear Lake day use area Atlanta Engagement Photography.
Clear Lake day use area is a gorgeous lakefront picture, disc golf, watersport, swimming area.
The evening is beautiful and Brittany and RJ are just glowing.
Both dogs are not used to having their photo captured so they are panting and pulling a bit but we do grab some nice images.
In addition, there are some mosquitos that are following the dogs.

The Mackinac Island lilac festival is in full swing.
This year the lilac festival falls right on peak lilac season.
Lilacs blooming in peak during the lilac festival is rare.
Mackinac Island smells wonderful right now.
The frequent rains have made the bloom last with strong aromas.
In addition, the lilacs seem to be holding on longer than normal.
