Erin and Chris first met in college at Georgetown University.

I met Erin for the very first time at her cottage in Roaring Brook in Harbor Springs. Immediately they invite me in like family and offer food, beverages, and basically whatever I wanted.

Yes, there is some nervous anticipation, but overall, the feeling is very relaxed.

Vogue Salon is working their magic with three ladies getting all of the women looking like models.

The Bride’s families cute cottage makes a nice backdrop for some preparation images prior to heading over to Holy Childhood of Jesus Christ Church in Harbor Springs.

Chris and his guys arrive to the Harbor Springs Church just prior to the ladies showing up. Chris is relaxed all the way up to just before the ceremony when he admitted he has some butterflies.

I always say that if you don’t have some nervous anticipation then something is not right. Or you are a politician, or used to standing in front of people.

The ceremony is gorgeous at Holy Childhood of Jesus Christ church in Harbor Springs.

Their friend father Chris marries them.

The flowers by A.R. Pontius are fresh, aromatic, and stunning.

After the Wedding ceremony we capture the group/family images in the church and then take an afternoon break until the reception.

The Wedding party all goes to a private beach on Lake Michigan to relax and swim before the second half of the day.

Gabriel Farms Petoskey Northern Michigan rustic barn wedding photography is an old, rustic barn on a hill with vineyards wrapped around it and a large lawn area for a tent, lawn games, tables, and more.

The location is perfect for a Wedding event like this one.

Not to mention the gorgeous tent and rental furniture, hutches, tables by Rental Express make the reception area look amazing.

Of course, A.R. Pontius places their touch on the entire event with flowers everywhere. I especially love the hanging flower chandelier over the dance floor. It is SO amazing at Gabriel Farms!

Charlie Millard is playing music for the cocktail hour and dinner under the tent. He is a wonderful pianist and acoustic guitar player.

There is good food and drinks everywhere. Crow’s Nest with chef Bob Vala does a wonderful job keeping everyone eating and commenting on the amazing appetizers and perch dinner.

Pies are prepared by Good Hart general store.

The band is a riot. L’USA brings a lot of energy and kept all of the guests dancing until I left.

Did I mention that the Bride’s fathers name is Paul. I have never met a bad Paul.:-)
