Petoskey, Michigan sunset

The sky was clear and I had been itching to fly my drone.  It was a cold evening but the sun made it feel just a bit warmer.  Gorgeous Petoskey Michigan sunset high above Lake Michigan.

I arrived late to the show, about ten minutes to sun down.

My drone pre-check went quick and off I went.

There were a ton of gulls in the are.  In fact, one almost ran into my drone!

People were out on the lighthouse pier, in the harbor, and along the Lake Michigan shoreline.

I used the lighthouse and clock to shield the bright sun from my lens.

The long shadow the lighthouse put off was really cool!

I like the colors, composition, and the peacefulness of all of the images.

It was a wonderful evening along the lakeshore.
