They chose Harbor Lights Resort for their Wedding Ceremony because of the stunning backdrop of Lake Michigan, two lighthouses, beach grass, dunes, boats, and the lovely blue sky. It was a perfect day in Northern Michigan, not too hot, and not too cold.

All of the flowers were designed by Victoria’s floral design of Frankfort. They designed the amazing bouquets which smelled so good. The Bride arrived via Wedding Carriage to the Frankfort beach on Lake Michigan at Harbor Lights Resort. The Wedding Carriage was provided by Abraham’s Carriage Service. They always do a wonderful service with their horses and carriage. They travel anywhere in Northern Michigan too.

The Wedding ceremony was short and super sweet. They had a sand ceremony with sand from all over the World. Shade’s daughters were included in the sand ceremony to unite the new family.

Jessica and Shade wanted images on the Elberta overlook with their Jeep prior to arriving at the Fusion Restaurant in downtown Frankfort on the back deck where the Wedding reception and dinner would be held.

There happened to be a 150 foot yacht parked right outside the Fusion Restaurant that we used as a backdrop for some of the images. Shade would like you to think that it is his yacht.:-)

The Wedding reception was very low key with a couple of toasts and dinner. We captured some group images and the cake cutting.

The evening was very intimate with close family and friends. The Wedding images show the relaxed feel of the entire day. Just like Jessica and Shade had planned.
