Congratulations Melanie and Jason! Melanie and Jason came all the way from Chicago, Illinois for their Northern Michigan destination Wedding at the Stafford’s Perry Hotel.
The day began early with hair and makeup in the Boardroom at the Perry Hotel. Melanie brought her hair stylist from Southern Michigan, Cindy Gardener of David the Salon in Grosse Pointe. Amanda from La Dolce Vita Salon did a wonderful job on the makeup for the day.
The Wedding colors were navy and shades of pink.
The Bride wore a gorgeous Martina Liana dress and Badgley Mischka shoes. Melanie looked absolutely stunning in her dress with the gorgeous bouquet by Monarch Garden and Floral and the perfect hair and makeup.
The Bride and Groom danced to “Gone, Gone, Gone” by Phillip Phillips.
The Bride and Groom chose to have a first look at the Stafford’s Perry Hotel so that they could ride around the Petoskey area with their Wedding party and family and capture beautiful images for a couple of hours. We traveled over to the Petoskey State Park and did a nice photo session on the beach first. Then we stopped at the Bay View Inn, a sister property of the Perry Hotel, where the Brides mother was married. The last stop was Bayfront Park on the waterfront in downtown Petoskey. We had all the family images we needed prior to the Wedding ceremony. They would join their family and guests for cocktail hour and appetizers.
Melanie and Jason selected an upgraded tent with custom ceiling and lighting inside. It really added to the elegance of their day.
