What a gorgeous, new Wedding venue in Petoskey, Michigan at Mackinaw Trail Winery!
Whittney and Michael loved the idea of a Wedding amongst the vineyard with the ceremony overlooking the pond, gazebo, and vines.
Whittney’s mother and family designed the warm details and arches and it all looked stunning.
The banquet hall was completed, literally, a couple days prior to the Wedding, and it looked great.
Whittney and Michael had about 200 guests and opted to rent a tent from Taylor Rental in Petoskey to cover the outdoor patio seating in case of rain. It was a wise decision since it poured rain prior to the Wedding Ceremony. This kept all of the tables dry.
The rain only lasted less than one hour and the sun came out. All the grass and vines were happy and green. The nice breeze kept the day comfortable for all the guests.
Whittney and Michael’s vision all came together beautifully.

Whittney and her bridesmaids started the day at Vogue Salon in downtown Petoskey, Michigan getting hair and makeup professionally designed.
Michael and his guys were helping out at the reception getting the last minute details in place for the day. The groomsmen met later at the Michigan Inn to get dressed for the day.
Whittney and Michael hired Above the Bay limousine service with their Hummer limo for transportation to the Ceremony for both the ladies and boys, and after the ceremony to Lake Michigan.

Mackinaw Trail Winery is a new Wedding venue in Petoskey, Northern Michigan. They finished their brand new banquet hall in July 2015 and will be taking reservations for Weddings and Events in the future. Ralph and Laurie told me that they will be doing no more than 10 Weddings a year. Get your date booked at the Mackinaw Trail Winery before you miss out!
