Surprise Wedding Engagement Northern Michigan
Gerald was traveling from Oklahoma with his girlfriend’s family and his family. He contacted me mid trip to inquire about photographing his surprise Engagement in a location that he had only seen and read about online.
Mackinac Island was the destination of choice.
Gerald didn’t have a specific location for their surprise Engagement Photography on Mackinac Island.
He loved the lighthouses, water, and the Mackinac Bridge. I suggested Windermere Point which has all three within view.
I suggested that Gerald hire a horse carriage and come to Windermere Point as a location that they need to check out because of the beautiful view. Gerald chose Arrowhead Carriage and Livery service.
They arrived 1/2 hour earlier than was expected but I was ready and Gerald was giving me the thumbs up.
Angie, Gerald’s girlfriend, had no idea this was about to happen. All of the kids were in on the secret, except the youngest, for obvious reasons.
