Beach, Winery, Fall Color Engagement Photography

Could you have a better looking couple? Then add in Petoskey, Michigan loviliness and you get perfection.

Mike and Whitney wanted to incorporate their dog, engagement location (Petoskey State Park), and their Wedding location (Mackinaw Trails Winery) in the Engagement Photography session.

We met on a beautiful Fall day at Petoskey State Park. Mike had proposed to Whitney at Petoskey State Park on the shoreline of Lake Michigan.

If you have not been to Petoskey State Park, it looks out at Little Traverse Bay and Lake Michigan towards Petoskey, Harbor Springs, and Bay Harbor. The sun sets for the majority of the year right over Lake Michigan. Not only is the beach gorgeous but there is lots of camping, trails, dunes, swimming, watersports, Petoskey stone hunting, playgrounds, volleyball court, snack shack, and lots more. Well worth the visit when you are in the area during any season.

Mike and I met about four years ago when I had contacted him to help us move from the UP of Michigan to Petoskey. Mike was attending Lake Superior State University in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan. He and his two friends helped move us down to the Petoskey area. Mike would later help us do another move. Don’t ask him to move you because he is probably burned out.:-)
