Northern Michigan destination wedding location

Mackinac Island in Northern Michigan is known for their fairy-tale destination weddings.  Elena’s family was familiar with the island but Ross’s family was not.  Both families realized the uniqueness of having a beautiful wedding on Mackinac Island as soon as they left the ferry.

Elena and Ross had their intimate wedding at Somewhere in Time Gazebo on the bluff of Mackinac Island.  Somewhere in Time Gazebo is part of the Mackinac Parks.  It is located well off of the busy Mackinac Island main street but overlooking the downtown of Mackinac Island, Michigan.  Thank you to Scott Whitsman for your hospitality and preparation of the site!

The wedding coordinator and planner was Carole Erbel from For the Love of Mackinac!  Carole knows everyone and always offers a flawless service.

Elena’s hair and makeup was completed by Astors Salon at the Grand Hotel.  She loved their services!

Elena got dressed at the Iroquois Hotel.  Her Mackinac Island wedding flowers were designed by Weber’s floral and gift.  Just perfect!  Simple bouquet with beautiful cali lilies.

Elena was brought up to the Somewhere in Time Gazebo by Gough horse drawn wedding carriage.   They also did a one hour tour around Mackinac Island following their beautiful wedding.  John is a great, knowledgeable driver.

The wedding officiant was Tom Marx.  Tom is always on time and professional.

Elena and Ross had me capture everything from getting ready up to the beginning of dinner.  Since it was only eight family members they didn’t do the tradition first dance and other events at the dinner/reception.

Thank you so much to Elena and Ross for having me capture your wonderful day.  So happy that the weather was beautiful and everything turned out so perfect!  I wish you the best in all of your future endeavors.
