Northern Michigan Senior Photography
A few times a year I get the pleasure of capturing senior photography. I do not advertise that I capture senior photography but I am willing to able to do fantastic senior photography.
This particular session was a referral from a past bride who loved my work and suggested that they call me for their son’s senior photography. They have a place at Bay Harbor and wanted to capture images of their son on the beach and with his tough Ford truck.
My style of senior photography is much like my style of wedding photography. Extremely easy going and fun through the entire session. I try not to set limits on time so that we can make perfect images that they will cherish forever.
I will bring all sorts of off camera light, diffusers, light modifiers, reflectors and such to make the images pop.
We captured images at Bay Harbor area and Petoskey state park for this senior photography shoot. I always capture a large variety of images when I shoot. Just a simple turn of a head or rotation of the body can change the entire feel of an image.
Some ask me why not shoot senior photography? I have friends that do very well shooting seniors and keeping up with all the trendy images that seniors love. I, on the other hand, love weddings and find that my niche is the wedding industry. I feel that taking on too much work just makes for mediocracy overall.
